Fight Like a Mom
Stephanie Stahl Hamilton knows — as a mother, a faith leader, and as a community advocate — that making investments in our children is the best investment in our state’s future. Her passion drives her to work hard and create solutions for the policies that prove detrimental to our communities.
As a state representative, Stephanie will advocate for the health and security of the youngest members of our state. Stephanie will work towards a statewide, fully funded, quality public education system.
One of ten founding members on the Tucson Unified Parent Advocacy Council, Stephanie will be an advocate for TUSD children when it comes to educational policy at the state legislature.
She worked tirelessly to collect signatures in order to get SBI431 on the ballot as Proposition 305 and reverse the school voucher expansion law passed in 2017. She served as the regional lead for Save Our Schools in 2018 to stop expansion and the lack of regulations in the voucher system.
Because she knows that education, food, security, and health care are intrinsically linked, Stephanie is committed to finding ways to provide affordable and accessible health care for all children in Arizona. No parent should have to decide between health care for their children, paying rent, or putting food on the table.
Stephanie is driven by the urgent need to create real and lasting change in Arizona — both for this generation and the next. Her priorities? Invest in our students, create opportunities for graduates to stay in Arizona, and ensure that anyone can retire in dignity.
